28.10.2008MTV announced the nominees of the awarda “MTV Russia Music Awards 2008”MTV channel announced the nominees for the musical award “MTV Russia Music Awards 2008 ” which were determined according to the results of the voting expert council finished on October 15.According to the press-cutting service of the channel the award will not only go to the top pop and hip-hop performers but also to those who created the sexiest video, to those who were the best in promoting their project in the net or to those who created the most elegant plagiarism. Those projects will be presented in such nominations as “Sex”, “Plagiarism”, “Dance”, “Net”.By a tradition MTV will announce the most legendary performer or the group whose work had a decisive effect to forming and developing of the modern musical culture in Russia. The legend of the generation will get the prize of the same name – “The legend of the MTV”.Today the audience voting has started on the site of the award. It will last until November 27.
